Images that actually get into documents, over the Claude connector — add_image can now fetch an image from a URL server-side, copy one already in the workspace, and place it in the document body in the same call. When the picture only exists as something you can see — a screenshot pasted into the chat, which Claude receives as an image and cannot re-send as bytes — it hands you a single-use drop link instead. 1.0: the role ladder is gone — every access decision is a permission, held by a role, assigned to a person or group and optionally scoped to a single space. Custom roles now do exactly what they say on drafts, publishing, notifications and rosters, and the three legacy per-space grant tables have been folded into role assignments. Interface polish, three rounds — an editor that no longer discards unsaved work (Ctrl/Cmd+S, a leave guard, a Save button that follows you down the page), real in-app not-found and error pages, actions that were unreachable on phones and narrow laptops, a sidebar that shows where you are, a readable line length for document body text, dark mode without white slabs, one empty-state treatment across the app, and the workspace date, time and page-width settings finally honoured everywhere.
